About Us

Crawford County Transportation Authority (CCTA) has been providing public transportation services to the residents of Crawford County since 1976. CCTA is a demand-response, dial-a-ride service. i.e.: You call and we will pick you up at your door at our earliest convenience. For outlying areas, (Frederic & Maple Forest, Beaver Creek, South Branch & Roscommon, M-72 East, M-72 West and Lovells), please view the schedule tab for the times that our buses leave Grayling to service your area.

In the event of inclement weather in the winter, CCTA does our best to remain open. There may be some mornings when we are on a delayed schedule or are servicing main roads only.

CCTA has a fleet of sixteen buses and three vans. All of our buses are wheelchair lift equipped to provide the best experience to those who need additional services.

CCTA employees are expected to treat everyone in a professional manner. In return, CCTA customers should act in a courteous manner to CCTA employees, other customers and general public while riding on our bus. For more information on Passenger Conduct, click on the tab below.
